Hire an AI employee for your Discord.

It learns your server's rules, lore, and history, even who's been warned, then takes the watch 24/7 so your team doesn't have to. Not a bot. An actual staff member.

No credit card, no catch.

What it does

Another staff member. Without another shift to schedule.

Staffd works alongside your mod team, not instead of it. It takes the watch and the grunt work so your people can handle what actually needs a human.

It starts as an intern

Day one

Staffd doesn't ask you to trust AI on day one. First it learns your server: the rules, the channels, how people actually talk. Then it takes the watch as an observer. It flags issues and recommends actions; a human makes every call. More authority is optional, and earned.

Reads your rulebook. All of it.

A rules channel, a Google Doc, a GitBook. It enforces what you wrote and cites your rule numbers, the ones your staff actually use.

Judges meaning, not keywords

It knows your server's culture, so banter stays banter and a roleplay threat never flags. Keyword filters can't do this.

Remembers every offender

Every flag and warning goes on the record. Repeat offenders get treated like repeat offenders. Fair escalation depends on history.

@ it, get a real answer

Members ask 'is this allowed?' right in the channel, and it answers with your rules and history behind every reply.

Sees images, not just text

Scam screenshots, rule-breaking memes, an invite link inside a picture. It reads them the way a human mod would.

Speaks your server's language

Tone and intent in whatever language your community runs in. It tells banter from harassment either way.

Manage it in plain English

Ask how the server's doing, change a rule, warn a member, all from a private admin channel. No commands to learn, no settings maze.

Make it part of your staff

Give it a name and an avatar for your server. Members experience a team member, not a generic bot.

Greets every newcomer

Custom welcomes in your server's voice, so members land in a place that feels staffed from message one.

The problem

Moderation never sleeps. People have to.

Every active community runs on the same impossible ask: keep the space safe around the clock, with people who have lives, jobs, and limits.

01

The clock doesn't stop

Raids, scams, and fights don't wait for a mod to wake up. The damage lands in the gaps.

02

Volunteers burn out

Even your best mods have lives. People get tired, drift, or move on, and the gaps reopen.

03

Keyword filters are blind

Old bots match words, not meaning: they miss the real harassment and flag the harmless joke.

04

Context lives in people's heads

Who's a repeat offender? What's allowed here? When mods change, that knowledge walks out the door.

One hire, two jobs

Staffd protects your community and helps you run it.

The same understanding that keeps your members safe is what helps you run the place.

For your members

Keeps the place safe

Staffd watches every channel 24/7 and flags rule-breaks to your staff for review. Summon it by name and it becomes a knowledgeable participant, answering members with the full context of your server behind every word.

For you

Helps you run it

A private admin channel where you run and grow the server just by talking to your employee: how's the community doing, who are the problem users, what needs attention. Your most informed staff member, always one message away.

How it works

Hired in minutes. Trusted over time.

No config spreadsheets, no writing rules from scratch. You add Staffd, it learns your server, you approve, then it gets to work.

01

Add Staffd to your server

One click, and it sets up its own private staff channel. You don't configure anything or write a single rule.

02

Your employee learns your server

It reads your rules, your pins, and how people actually talk, then drafts what it understood for you to review. It arrives as an intern.

03

You promote it, and it takes the watch

Approve the read, give it a name, and it goes live: watching 24/7 and flagging rule-breaks to your staff channel.

Why we say employee

It behaves like staff, not software.

01

Trust is earned, not switched on

Autonomy is earned and owner-granted, never shipped. Staffd starts as an observer that flags; you decide when and how far to trust it.

02

It never starts over

Removing it means firing your most experienced moderator, then rehiring one with total amnesia. Time on the job compounds into judgment.

03

It never calls in sick

24/7 coverage with no PTO, no burnout, no favoritism. Staffd shows up the same way at 3pm and at 3am, every day.

Built to be trusted

Trust isn't a feature. It's the default.

You're handing Staffd real reach into your community. Here's exactly what it will and won't do with it.

Observer by default

Staffd flags; you decide. It never bans, kicks, or times anyone out on its own, not until you explicitly grant it more.

Never trained on your data

Your messages are used to make a judgment in the moment, never to train AI models. Ever.

Yours to delete

What Staffd keeps is moderation history for fair escalation, and it's removable on request, per user or per server.

Staffd

On duty.

Most mod teams are volunteers who do it for love. They also sleep, burn out, and move on. Staffd doesn't replace the people who care. It covers the hours nobody can. Free for 14 days, no card required.

FAQ

The honest answers.

The stuff owners actually want to know before handing over the keys.

Does Staffd ban people on its own?

No. Staffd runs in observer mode by default: it flags rule-breaks to your staff channel and a human makes the call. Autonomy is something you grant over time, never the default.

What permissions does it need?

Enough to do the job: read messages so it can watch, post to your staff channel, set up its own private channels, and carry out the actions you approve. It stays in observer mode until you grant more, and you can remove it in one click.

What if it flags something wrong?

You dismiss it, and nothing happened. Staffd only flags to your private staff channel, and a human decides every action. A wrong flag costs you a click, not a banned member, and because it learns your server, false flags get rarer over time.

Do you train AI on our messages?

No. Messages are used for inference only, never to train models. What Staffd keeps is moderation history for fair escalation, and that's deletable on request.

What happens if I remove it?

Remove it anytime, no lock-in. Your moderation history is deletable on request, per user or per server, and we hold a short grace period after uninstall before purging, so an accidental removal doesn't wipe everything.

How is it different from MEE6 or Carl-bot?

Those pattern-match keywords and rules you write by hand. Staffd understands your specific server: its rules, its lore, its history, and how your members actually talk.

What does it cost?

It's priced like software but does the job of staff: flat plans from $29 a month per server. Every server starts with a 14-day free trial, and during it we measure your server's real activity and tell you which plan fits. No card required to start.
